Refund & Return Policy

At The Stylish Stray, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our Refund and Returns Policy provides detailed information on how to return an item or receive a refund if you’re not entirely happy with your order.


You can return most items for a refund or store credit within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging, including tags and any other security devices attached.

Steps to Return an Item:

  1. Contact our Customer Support team at to initiate a return. Please include your order number, details of the item, and reason for the return.
  2. You will receive a return authorization and instructions on where to send the returned items.
  3. Pack the item securely and include the original receipt or proof of purchase.
  4. Send the item to the provided address using a traceable shipping method.

Please note that, generally, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges; however, if the item is defective or there was a shipping error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.

International Returns

For returns from Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, and other international locations, the same process applies. Please note that international return shipping charges are generally the responsibility of the customer. However, if the item is defective or there was a shipping error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.


Our team will inspect your returned item upon receipt and then process your refund or exchange. If we approve the return, we will process the refund and apply a credit to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

Non-Returnable Items

The following types of items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Gift cards
  • Dog health and personal care items


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to the return address provided by our support team. Be sure to put “Refund and Returns Policy” and order number in the subject line.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded but may be exchanged or returned for store credit.
